Nunca he sido realmente una "celebridad" y aún no me veo como tal. Cuando voy a casa en Argentina, la gente me reconoce en las calles, quieren mi autógrafo y me hablan mientras estoy comiendo. Creo que allá sí soy una celebridad. Pero he permanecido en Los Angeles por un tiempito preparándome para mi defensa frente a Floyd Mayweather Jr. y rara vez alguien me reconoce. Pero recientemente más y más gente argentina espera por mí afuera del tren y me desean suerte y me motivan. Es lindo. Es como un saborcito de la casa.
El entrenamiento va muy bien. Estoy peleando muchos rounds y me he puesto más y más fuerte, mientras aprendo más acerca del estilo de Mayweather. Ya le he dicho a mi compañía promotora ‘Sycuan Ringside Promotions’ que en una pelea titulada ‘Pretty Risky’ quien se está arriesgando es Mayweather.
Cuando no entreno, junto con mis cuatro hijos y mi esposa, vamos al parque o a "The Grove", un centro comercial al aire libre. Mis dos hijos pequeños disfrutan jugar en el parque y los mayores y mi esposa gustan de comprar en el "mall". Es curioso como a pesar de que seas de Argentina o de Estados Unidos, ¡a todos les gusta comprar!

I’ve never really been a “celebrity” before and still don’t see myself as one. When I go home to Argentina, people recognize me on the streets, want my autograph and talk to me while I’m eating. I guess I’m a celebrity there right now. But I’ve been in Los Angeles now for a little while preparing for my title defense against Floyd Mayweather and rarely does anybody recognize who I am. But recently, more and more Argentinean people are waiting for me outside after I train and wishing me well and encouraging me. It’s nice. It’s like I get a little taste of home. Training is going really well right now. I’m sparing a lot and getting stronger and learning more about Mayweather’s style. I told my promotional company, Sycuan Ringside Promotions, that it had the name of our fight, “Pretty Risky,” backwards – I’m the pretty one and Floyd is the one taking the risk! When I’m not training, my four children and my wife and I either go to the park or go to The Grove, which is a local outdoor mall. My two younger children like playing in the park and our two older kids and my wife like shopping at the mall. It’s funny how regardless of if you live in Argentina or the United States, everybody loves to shop!
